What kind of cam are you going to run? How high are you planing to rev it?

That all can come in to factor when making the decision on the pushrods. If you are running a hydraulic flat tappet with 90-110 pounds of seat pressure you can get away with a cheaper pushrod. If you have a hydraulic roller or solid flat tappet with 130- 150 pound of seat pressure you will want to Go with something a little stronger.

3/8 .083 wall, heat treated would be the minimum.
