When I purchased this truck it had a weak 454 series 5 from a 93 box truck. It didn't have any power,sounded like crap,and didn't belong in this truck. It had a white top,with the 39.5 Super Swampers,and a th350. It had a 12 bolt and a Dana 44 with matching 4:56 gears,which were ok,but I wanted something more streetable. I found another parts 70 blazer with 4:11 12 bolt,and a matching Dana,a nice black top with sliding side Windows,and two sunroofs. I also pulled the rollcage and some misc,parts for my truck,and to sell on c-list. I found a low mile 400 small block,for $500 stripped the top end,and put on a set of procomp aluminum heads,a victor Jr. intake,and a demon 750 carb.MSD 6 and long tube headers and a 3 inch system with 40 series Flowmasters finish off the build.
I think my friend Matt and I are going to construct a custom chain link grill,similar to this,but mine will be a consecutive one piece on a 15-30 degree angle. And mine will be shiney and nice.
